This is a book store called El Ateneo in Buenos Aires, Argentina! You can have coffee while sitting on the stage. One of my favorite places in my city.
It’s a BOOKSTORE?!
Okay, so, yeah, I’m going there:

I’d go there. Find some Shakespeare. Go on the stage. Perform like a motherfucker.
It looks like the fricken Beast’s library in Beauty and the Beast 0_o I WANT.
i know where im going in the summer…
I used to spend so many afternoons there. There is even a cafe on the stage that has some pretty damn good hot coco.

I am returning to Texas in seven hours. I haven’t felt a twinge if homesickness the past week while I have been in New Mexico. Yet, the feeling of returning is starting to crash down on me. However, it isn’t homesickness for my family and the suburbs of Texas. No I am missing Buenos Aires again.
It always hits me out of no where. A smell, an idea, a memory, then the want to return boils up again. That city is so much more my home then anywhere in the US has ever been.
I plan to return soon. And I won’t be running.
Sorry for the little rant.
People have been asking if I live in Buenos Aires.
Yes I do.
We have lived here for almost 6 years. I am totally in love with Buenos Aires and all the people here.
*Unless otherwise noted, all of the photos I publish are my own photos.
I miss it. I always say I am homesick for Buenos Aires despite the fact that I only lived there for a year. But that city feels just as much my home, if not more, as Texas does.

this is beautiful..
El Ateneo is my all time favorite bookstore that is housed in an old theater on Sante Fe in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Despite the small English section I would always find great books to buy. I would proceed to take my finds to the café tucked away in the stage and spend hours of my time ensconced in literature.
